Heatwave: Foxx's Unpredictable Rhythm

Yeah, ladies, I know you’re tired of the same old thing. Things have become so mundane. I mean your bedroom is just so cold, so cold, but I’m here to tell you I got a strategy we bout to heat it up (I like that).

Let me take you back to the days before the Internet blew up with harsh comments about Jamie Foxx singing the National Anthem terribly (I didn’t see it, but I heard it was bad). First up on our Sex Playlist is Unpredictable from the album of the same name by Jamie Foxx back in 2005. It features one of the few rappers I respect (when he’s not doing his music, but guest starring), Ludacris.

Why this song? Well, I’m going to give credit to God. Weird, I know right? BUT! When I was thinking of the first song, this song popped into my head. But I didn’t mention it to the wife. I asked her what song I should do first. She didn’t give me an answer until this morning when I asked again, and she said she had thought about Unpredictable but wasn’t sure because it’s “dirty.” But she told herself she’d sleep on it and see what would happen. She said she ended up having a dream about the song. Also along with the fact, going off my wife’s joke, we have tested this song out (That was a fun night) about a year ago. So we’re going to one of my favorite songs ever.

This song is all about getting out of the missionary position. YES! We all love the intimacy and for a majority of us that’s most likely how we lost – or will lose – our virginity. BUT! Doing nothing but that is how the bedroom can get cold real fast (see above). Unfortunately, if one of you wants more, and you’re not getting it; that’s how temptation can set in (See Tyler Perry’s Temptations: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor).

But Jamie Foxx has the remedy. Your spouse should know that: Baby 1 plus 1 ain’t 2 when you wit me – C ain’t after A and B when you wit me – It don’t make sense right now, but it will – Later on when you see how I make you feel.

Change it up! Listen to how your spouse feels when you try to incite sex. If they’re a little cold for the wrong reasons (there are Biblical reasons to say ‘no’), then it’s time to spice it up. Now, you have two choices here, and you can spice it up on a whim, or you can sit down and talk to your spouse about what they want done to them. And when they’re least expecting it (don’t be cheesy and use a birthday or anniversary, too cliché) give it to them, and give it to them right.

Men:

Now is the time to remind your wife that you don’t have to get her on her back all the time, or, as men also want, to take her from behind. Give her more. If she’s up for the car, tease her through the day and take her out on a hot date. Make her feel like she’s the hottest woman in the world because to you she should be. And then ravage her in the car because she’s just so blazing you can’t wait until you get home. Show her you didn’t settle for the first woman to say ‘hi’ back to you. Show her you know how hot she is and you’re not just trying to keep your balls from being blue. You want to let her know that for the rest of your lives, each encounter will be different than the last even if you’re using the same position you used two days ago. Men can feel the bedroom get cold and blame their wives, but the saying is – “happy wife, happy life.” If she’s happy and not dreading the next sexual encounter, you’re doing something right. She should wonder what you’re going to do next. Actually, not wonder, she should be excited to see what you’re going to do next.

Ladies:

This idea is a double-edged sword for you. What could happen is your man wants to try something new. Maybe it has gotten cold because you feel disconnected from your lover, and so you’re skeptical whenever he tries. But maybe you just have a man who doesn’t express his feelings much and he just walks up one night and says, “Hey, I want to do this.” Even if you have that man, don’t turn him down. Remember, God gave you this man, and he designed this man to make sure he fulfills all your needs including the ones in the bedroom. So take Jamie’s advice from the course. Let your man get uUnpredictable on you.

The second half of this is maybe you’re tired of waiting. Maybe you need to show your man that it’s okay to be Unpredictable. So in that case you may need to go on the offensive – most men want this… well we kind of go back and forth, and I’m sure that’s just the same for both sexes. Sometimes we all like to take control, and sometimes we all like to sit back and be taken. The truth is some of us like one more than the other. But, in this case, if you’re feeling it’s cold I always suggest talking, communication is always important. But we all know sometimes actions speak louder than words. So in that case turn this song on and change all the pronouns from male to female and vice versa and, wa-laa!, you have your song to go on the offensive!

Singles/Dating/Engaged:

Take all of the above and apply it like I did. I was so worried when I was younger of letting my flame die with my future wife so I made a vow to myself that I would never let it die down. I keep throwing the kindling on it, and so I’m always looking for ways to spice it up for my Wifey. I say make a list of the things you want to do to your spouse one day and add to that list what you want done to you. If you’re engaged, start talking about what you’re looking for on that wedding night to make that night more explosive than you initially imagined. Keep the fire going. Get Unpredictable when the time comes

How did I use it: The song was on repeat, and I sang it over and over again as I slowly took off her clothes and kissed every inch of her body.
