Midnight Dip at the Thermal Springs
The October air was crisp, but the atmosphere inside the club was stifling. I wasn’t particularly fond of the music, but being there with Elena—my ex-girlfriend, whom I still affectionately called Osita—made the evening tolerable. As the wine flowed and the bass thumped, we found ourselves dancing closer than we had in months. The friction of our bodies and the lingering tension between us ignited a spark that neither of us could ignore.
Elena leaned in, her voice a sultry whisper against my ear. “Do you still want me?” she asked. I didn’t need words to answer; I pulled her into a deep, hungry kiss that spoke of all the longing we had suppressed. The heat between us became unbearable, and we knew the crowded dance floor wouldn’t suffice.
We slipped away, driving toward the secluded thermal springs on the edge of town. Under a canopy of stars, we shed our clothes, the cool night air contrasting with the steaming water. As we slid into the mineral pool, the warmth enveloped us, but it was nothing compared to the fire burning between us. Elena pulled me close, her skin slick and glowing in the moonlight. We lost ourselves in each other, the rhythmic splashing of water echoing our shared desire as we reclaimed a passion that had never truly faded.
