Summer Heat in Pacifico
The humid air of the coast clung to Julian’s skin like a second layer as he stepped onto the balcony of the resort. He was twenty-two now, a far cry from the boy he had been during those early summers, but the magnetic pull of the ocean remained the same. Beside him stood Marcus, his longtime partner and the man who had taught him that intimacy was a language spoken best in the silence of a shared gaze.
Marcus stepped closer, his chest brushing against Julian’s bare back. He wrapped his arms around Julian’s waist, pulling him firmly against the hard planes of his body. “You’re thinking about the water,” Marcus whispered, his voice a low rumble that vibrated through Julian’s spine. Julian leaned his head back, closing his eyes as Marcus began to trail slow, searing kisses along the curve of his shoulder.
The tension between them had been building since they arrived, a slow burn fueled by the salt air and the privacy of their secluded villa. Julian turned in Marcus’s arms, his hands finding the nape of Marcus’s neck, pulling him down into a kiss that tasted of longing and summer heat. In that moment, the world outside the balcony ceased to exist, leaving only the rhythmic sound of the crashing waves and the desperate, synchronized beat of their hearts.
