Midnight Desires
The house was draped in a heavy, suffocating silence, the kind that only exists after midnight. Julian lay in bed, his heart hammering against his ribs like a trapped bird. Every muscle in his body trembled with a mixture of adrenaline and raw, unchecked longing. He had gone over a week without seeing Marcus, and the deprivation had left him on edge, his skin humming with a feverish heat.
He moved with calculated precision, slipping out of bed and creeping through the darkened hallway. When he finally reached Marcus’s door, Julian’s breath hitched. He slipped inside, the room smelling of old books and the faint, clean scent of blue soap.
Marcus was a silhouette against the moonlight filtering through the curtains. As Julian approached, Marcus turned, his eyes dark with a matching hunger. Without a word, they collided, their lips meeting in a desperate, bruising kiss that tasted of longing and salt. Hands roamed with urgency, tearing away fabric and barriers, as they collapsed onto the bed in a tangle of limbs and gasps. Every touch was a revelation, every moan a confession of how much they had suffered in the silence of their separation.
