Lab of Love: Susan and Their Campus Adventure

I started graduate work at college, where I lived in an area where I didn't know anyone. For the first few weeks, Susan was asking about my boyfriend. I lied to her and told her not too worried because I had a girlfriend. Susan kept asking about me, which made me feel a bit uncomfortable but also curious about what was going on between them.

She shared with me how it was affecting her mental health and emotional well-being. I listened attentively to what she said, trying to understand her concerns better.

I suggested we go to a local event or gathering where people are interested in meeting up. Brooke agreed on the idea and suggested that we meet up for lunch next week. We made plans to get together then and see if we can connect with more like-minded individuals.

For the following weeks, Susan started asking me about my relationship status. I lied to her again, telling her not too worried because I had a girlfriend. She was very curious about the situation and kept asking for updates.

As the spring break approached, our conversations became more frequent and detailed. We talked about our personal growth, goals, and accomplishments. Our discussions were more in-depth and honest, as we both wanted to share our thoughts and feelings openly.

The end of the spring break was bittersweet for me. I couldn't wait to see Susan again after so many weeks of talking online. Brooke and I also missed each other after such a long time apart.

As the spring break came to an end, we made plans to reconnect with each other on the following day. We were excited to finally meet up in person and catch up about everything that had happened during our conversations. We promised to continue our discussions and learn more about each other as well.
