Overcoming the Challenges: A Pumping Friend's Help

My long time friend stopped by for help. She couldn't get her breast pump to work and she needed it to pump her extra milk. I looked over it and thought maybe it was a broken wire or something loose. So, after examining it, I told her that maybe it needed to be replaced. We talked about the baby and his mom had the baby today. So, I asked her if I could go get her a new breast pump. She said she would call her husband to stop and get one for her when he got off work. Then, I said what are you going to do in the mean time? She said I will try to get it done myself, but my breasts are so tender right now. So, I asked how do you make a breast pump work if your breasts are too tender? She said I need a bowl and would show me. Then, I told her to let me nurse your breasts while the baby sleeps. So, she let me do that. I went home, and after a few days, my friend came by for help again.
