I woke up early to the smell of pancakes. How I love pancakes. I opened my eyes and noticed my wife wasn’t next to me. Usually she sleeps in till I wake her up. I sighed, let go and sat at the counter top opposite the stove. I leaned my head against my arm and stared at her. She noticed my staring and looked at me.

“What?” she asked.

“Nothing,” I smiled.

“Nothing?” she smirked.

“Stop staring if it’s nothing,” she frowned.

“Lucky how?” she smiled turning off the stove.

“You married me and gave me a daughter and a son,” I continued.
