I am a woman in my sixties with a respectable life. I was employed as an "office girl" in a local garage and managed basic tasks such as keeping the calendar up to date, making tea and coffees, and doing some basic typing of invoices. One day, I received an offer from a couple of workshop mechanics to pose for a few saucy pictures and send them to a magazine called "Readers Wives." At first, I was hesitant, but when they approached me with the idea, I agreed.

During this photo shoot, we spent time together on the back seat of a customer's car. We pretended to squirt oil from an oil can and sat on the car bonnet while looking at each other. I didn't know that my behavior would be seen as open and lubricated, but after the photo was taken, I became more aware of myself.

The next issue of "Readers Wives" featured us on a double page spread. We were both naked, and it was a moment when I realized how vulnerable I had become. But despite feeling embarrassed, I was proud of what we had done. I wondered how many people in the garage would benefit from our actions.

As time passed, I became aware that the photos were still being used in future issues of "Readers Wives." I couldn't believe it - a picture of me with a man who wasn't my husband! The magazine continued to print and comment on our photo shoot, which only added to my embarrassment. But what made it even more painful was knowing that my family had no idea about the photos or the circumstances surrounding them.
