A Dream Come True in Zaragoza
Sarita stood at the train station, her fingers nervously twisting the strap of her bag. She had traveled to Zaragoza to surprise Kats, wanting to return the unexpected visit he had once paid her. After several failed attempts to reach him, his voice finally crackled through the phone, warm and concerned. When she confessed she was waiting at the station, his response was immediate and tender: “Wait for me at the café, precious.”
While she waited, a waiter handed her a handwritten note. “You look so beautiful when you’re nervous… Take a taxi to the Hotel Boston. Don’t be late, sweetheart.” Her heart hammered against her ribs as she hurried to the luxury hotel. Feeling out of place in her casual attire—wide black pants and a tight blue blouse—she felt the gaze of the sophisticated guests. But Kats’ voice in her ear kept her grounded, whispering that he was waiting for her.
When she entered the suite, the scent of expensive cologne and fresh lilies filled the air. Kats stood by the window, his silhouette framed by the city lights. He turned, his eyes darkening with desire as he looked at her. Without a word, he crossed the room and pulled her into a fierce embrace, his lips meeting hers in a kiss that tasted of longing and home. In that moment, the distance between them vanished, replaced by a fire that threatened to consume them both.
