The Forgotten Portfolio
I have always harbored a secret fantasy: the thrill of being seen. While my girlfriend is beautiful and wonderful, there is a specific kind of electricity that comes with the risk of exposure, a tension that I usually keep locked away. Then there is Carmen, her best friend. Carmen is slender, spirited, and possesses a casual way of dressing that always seems to push the boundaries of modesty.
Carmen often stays at our place when she visits from out of town. There had always been an unspoken current between us—a lingering touch here, a towel wrapped slightly too low there. I could never tell if she was simply oblivious or if she was playing the same game I was, but the ambiguity only fueled my desire.
The tension peaked on a humid Tuesday afternoon. Carmen had stayed for the weekend but left behind a portfolio of work documents. When she called to retrieve them, I mentioned I was about to jump in the shower after my run. She told me she was on her way and would be there in minutes.
I was halfway through a steaming shower when the doorbell rang. She called my cell, sounding urgent, explaining she desperately needed to use the restroom. In a rush of adrenaline and poor judgment, I grabbed the smallest towel I owned—a scrap of fabric that barely clung to my hips—and opened the door, dripping wet and smelling of sandalwood soap.
The look on her face was a mix of shock and sudden, intense curiosity. She hurried to the bathroom, but as she emerged, the atmosphere in the living room had shifted. We sat together, the air thick with a heat that had nothing to do with the weather. As we chatted, Carmen reached out, her fingers grazing my chest, her touch light but deliberate. I felt every nerve ending ignite, and beneath the thin towel, my body reacted instantly and uncontrollably.
When it came time to get her portfolio from the bedroom, the situation became precarious. As I reached for the papers, I felt the towel slipping. I caught it with my elbow, but the struggle only made the fabric tighten and shift, leaving very little to the imagination. Carmen was right behind me, her voice a playful whisper.
“Do you need some help?” she asked. I hesitated, then blurted out, “Could you hold the towel for me?”
She didn’t hesitate. She stepped close, the scent of her perfume filling my senses, and slid the towel away completely. She attempted to wrap it back around my waist, but my erection was far too prominent to be hidden. She paused, her eyes widening as she looked down. “I think you have a little friend who doesn’t want to be tucked away,” she teased, a mischievous glint in her eyes.
I confessed that she was the one who had woken him up. She laughed, a low, sultry sound, and before I could react, she leaned down. With a playful wink, she took me in her hand and pressed a soft, lingering kiss to the tip of my length.
Before I could breathe, she snatched the towel and her bag, darting out the open door. “If you want your towel back, come and get it!” she shouted from her car.
I chased her out into the driveway, completely naked. I managed to retrieve the fabric from the passenger seat just as she locked the doors and rolled away, leaving me standing in the open air. As I walked back to the house, I caught the gaze of a few neighbors chatting across the street. Instead of shame, I felt a surge of raw, exhibitionist power. The walk back was the longest, most exhilarating journey of my life.
