Midnight Heat in the Garden
The summer air was thick and heavy, clinging to Julian’s skin as he stepped onto the veranda of the secluded estate. He had been thinking about Elena for weeks, the way her laughter echoed through the hallways and the way her gaze lingered on him just a second too long during their evening conversations. Tonight, the house was quiet, leaving them alone in the shimmering moonlight.
He found her in the rose garden, her silk robe slipping slightly off one shoulder. “I didn’t think you’d come,” she whispered, her voice a velvet caress. Julian didn’t speak; he simply stepped closer, the scent of blooming jasmine swirling around them. He reached out, his fingers grazing the soft skin of her arm, and felt her breath hitch.
The tension that had been building between them for months finally snapped. Julian pulled her against him, his lips meeting hers in a hungry, desperate kiss that tasted of longing and forbidden desire. Elena groaned softly, her hands tangling in his hair, pulling him closer as the world outside the garden walls ceased to exist.
