The Midnight Fare
The air in the city was thick with the scent of rain and celebration. I had just finished my final exams, and the adrenaline of graduation was still humming through my veins, amplified by a few too many cocktails at the after-party. By the time I hailed a taxi to take me home, my inhibitions had dissolved into a hazy, electric longing.
As the car glided through the neon-lit streets, I found myself staring at the driver. He was a broad-shouldered man with a steady gaze and a deep, grounding presence that felt like an anchor in my drunken whirl. A sudden, daring fantasy sparked in my mind—a reckless urge to turn this mundane ride into something unforgettable. I felt a heat bloom in my chest, spreading downward, making me restless in the leather seat.
Just as we approached my neighborhood, I spoke up, my voice slightly husky. “Could we stop at the ATM? I need some cash,” I lied, my heart hammering against my ribs. When he pulled over into a quiet, dimly lit corner, I didn’t get out. Instead, I leaned forward, the scent of his cologne filling my senses.
“The truth is, I have the money,” I whispered, my hand sliding boldly across the center console to find him. “But I’m feeling incredibly reckless, and I want you.” I let my fingers brush against the hard ridge of his length through his trousers, feeling him jump slightly at the touch.
For a heartbeat, there was silence. I expected him to tell me to get out or to be offended. Instead, he let out a low, guttural growl. “You’ve got guts, kid. Do it, but it’ll cost you,” he replied, his voice dropping an octave.
He didn’t drive me home immediately. Instead, he steered the taxi into a secluded, darkened alleyway where the city noise faded into a distant hum. He reclined the driver’s seat with a sharp click and lowered his zipper, releasing his hardness. He was impressive—firm and pulsing with anticipation.
I didn’t hesitate. I sank to my knees in the cramped space of the footwell, my lips meeting his heat. The contrast of the cool night air and the warmth of his skin was intoxicating. I used my tongue to trace the length of him, listening to his breath hitch. He groaned, his hands finding my hair, guiding me with a firm but consenting grip as he pushed deeper, claiming my mouth with a rhythmic, demanding pace.
For ten minutes, the world outside the windows ceased to exist. There was only the sound of his heavy breathing and the wet, sliding friction of our encounter. When he finally peaked, a sharp gasp escaped him, his body shuddering under my touch.
As I sat back up, smoothing my clothes, he adjusted himself and returned the seat to its upright position. He drove me the remaining blocks to my door in a charged, heavy silence. Just as I opened the door to leave, he reached out and caught my wrist.
“Give me your number,” he commanded, a smirk playing on his lips. “I have a feeling I’m going to want a repeat of this ride.” I smiled, scribbling my digits on a scrap of paper. He didn’t even mention the payment; the pleasure had been currency enough.
