The Storm and the Secret
The rain descended in a sudden, violent torrent, blurring the world outside the car windows into a smear of gray and green. Jessica and Angel were trapped in the parking lot of a nature reserve, the windshields of their vehicle and several others fogging up rapidly. The isolation felt intimate, a private sanctuary carved out of the storm.
Angel didn’t waste a moment. He leaned in, his breath hot against her skin, his hands finding the buttons of her blouse with practiced urgency. “No one can see us,” he whispered, his voice a low rumble of desire. Jessica felt a thrill of exhibitionism; the thought that other people were just a few feet away, separated only by a thin veil of condensation, made her blood sing.
As he tasted her skin and explored her curves, the risk heightened every sensation, turning a simple rainy afternoon into a fever dream of passion. Their breath fogged the glass further, sealing them in a world of their own making, where the only sound was the rhythmic drumming of rain on the roof and the frantic beating of two hearts in sync.
