The Eighth Passenger
The bus terminal in Veracruz was chaotic, a blur of shouting vendors and idling engines. I had rushed out of my semester in the capital, forgetting to book my ticket in advance. By the time I found a route toward Coatzacoalcos, I was irritable, resigned to a longer journey with a transfer. However, as I climbed aboard the 10:00 AM coach, my mood shifted. There were only seven of us. The cabin was spacious, the air conditioning humming a low, inviting tune.
I slid into a seat toward the back, far from the few other passengers. The isolation felt like an invitation. I leaned back, my mind wandering to the friction of my clothes against my skin, the heat beginning to build in my lap. I thought I was alone in my desires until the doors opened one last time. A man stepped on—another driver from the line, catching a ride to the same city. He was striking: dark-skinned, masculine, around twenty-nine, with a buzzed haircut and piercing light eyes that seemed to see right through me.
As he walked down the aisle, his gaze lingered on me for a second too long. I froze, suddenly self-conscious, wondering if he had noticed the tension in my posture. To my surprise, he didn’t move to the front. He slid into the seat directly behind me. I stayed still, heart hammering, but then I noticed a movement in my peripheral vision. He was rubbing his hand against his thigh, his fingers slipping beneath the hem of his shirt in a slow, rhythmic invitation.
The air between us electrified. He caught my eye and gave a subtle nod, gesturing for me to switch places. I didn’t hesitate. Once I was behind him, the atmosphere shifted from tentative to urgent. He leaned back, exposing himself, and I felt a surge of adrenaline. I reached forward, my fingers trembling as I slowly lowered his zipper. When his trousers and boxers slid down, he revealed a thick, dark, and glistening length that left me breathless. The sight of him, fully aroused and waiting, was more than I could resist.
I leaned in, my tongue tracing the velvet heat of his glans, tasting the salty sweetness of his excitement. He groaned softly, the sound vibrating through the seat. We were hidden by the high backs of the chairs, the other passengers oblivious, lost in their own movies or sleep. I worked him with a hunger I hadn’t known I possessed, my mouth enveloping him until he trembled with the effort of holding back.
The heat in my own pants had become unbearable. I freed myself, my length aching and slick. I felt the smooth, firm curve of his muscular thighs and the surprising fullness of his backside. He shifted, pressing his rear against me, the friction sending sparks through my nerves. I could feel his need, the tight heat of him inviting me in. I guided myself forward, sliding into him with a slow, deep push that drew a muffled gasp from his lips. I covered his mouth with my hand, keeping our secret safe as I began to move.
The rhythm was primal, a desperate exchange of heat and friction in the back of a moving bus. He arched his back, pulling me deeper, his muscles clenching around me with every thrust. I lost myself in the sensation of his tight grip and the rhythmic sway of the vehicle. As the tension reached a breaking point, I surged forward one last time, filling him with a hot, pulsing release that left us both shaking.
When we finally dressed and straightened our clothes, we exchanged names with lingering smiles. We didn’t swap numbers—a decision I regretted the moment he stepped off the bus. As I watched him disappear into the crowd, I knew I would be taking many more trips to Veracruz, hoping to find that spark again.
