Secret Desires with Aldo
The house was silent, save for the heavy, rhythmic breathing of my mother, who had fallen into a deep, alcohol-induced slumber. Beside her lay Aldo, her charismatic boyfriend. He had always been fond of me, greeting me with playful ruffles of my hair and affectionate swats on my backside. In a moment of impulsive longing, I found myself drifting off to sleep right beside him, feeling the warmth of his presence.
When Aldo finally woke, he gently nudged me, his voice a low rumble in the quiet room. As I stood up, a sharp sting reminded me of a previous encounter with a neighbor, a secret I carried with a mixture of shame and thrill. Aldo noticed my discomfort immediately. He had a keen eye, and as he stepped closer, he sensed something different about me—a scent that didn’t belong to my usual lemon-scented soap.
With a firm but gentle hand, he guided me to my room. He closed the door softly behind us, the click of the lock echoing in the small space. His eyes searched mine, filled with a sudden, intense curiosity. He knew I was hiding something, and the tension between us snapped like a taut string. He pulled me close, his breath hot against my neck, whispering that some secrets were meant to be shared in the dark.
