The Secret of the River
For months, I had watched Julian from a distance. In the heat of physical education class, I noticed the subtle ways he tried to hide his arousal, his hand pressing firmly against his gym shorts. I caught glimpses of the tension there, a hidden fire that mirrored my own growing obsession.
The tension finally broke during our end-of-year school trip to the river. The water was cool, but the atmosphere was electric. As we played in the currents, the thin fabric of our swim trunks left little to the imagination. Every time we collided in the water, I felt the hard, insistent length of him pressing against me.
Later that evening, we gathered by a quieter bend of the river. Away from the group, Julian pulled me into the shadows of the weeping willows. The air was thick with humidity and unspoken desire. When he finally kissed me, it was a collision of hunger and relief, our bodies pressing together with a desperation that had been building for years.
