The Shadows of Wallachia
In the year 1411, the remote villages of Romania were places of profound silence and hidden desires. In one such hamlet, young Julian lived in the shadow of a world governed by fear—fear of the Inquisition’s pyres and fear of the Moroi, the nocturnal predators who stalked the forests. Julian spent his nights in a small, thatched cabin, listening to the rhythmic, wet sounds of his sister and her husband making love in the neighboring bed. The sounds of their passion, the soft moans and the unmistakable shup-shup of penetration, fueled a fire in Julian that he dared not name.
Julian had a confidant, a boy named Stefan. Together, they worked the feudal lands by day and shared whispered secrets of longing by night. They had spent months in a state of agonizing tension, masturbating to the thought of one another in the safety of their separate homes, terrified that the Church would burn them for their unnatural inclinations. But the hunger for real touch eventually outweighed the terror of the stake.
Under the shroud of a moonless night, Julian slipped away from his cabin and ventured into the dense, oppressive woods. He found Stefan waiting in a secluded glade, the air thick with the scent of pine and damp earth. The moment they touched, the world outside ceased to exist. Stefan’s hands were urgent, stripping away Julian’s coarse leggings, leaving him exposed to the cool night air. Stefan knelt before him, his mouth enveloping Julian’s rigid length with a hunger that felt almost predatory.
As Julian gasped, lost in the sensation of Stefan’s tongue, he felt another presence behind him. He assumed it was a friend, but the touch was different—colder, more precise. A pair of lips pressed against his neck, and a sharp, needle-like sting pierced his skin. It didn’t hurt; instead, it released a wave of intoxicating euphoria that clouded his mind. He felt a large, slick member press against his entrance, sliding inside him with an effortless, supernatural ease.
The pleasure was overwhelming, a tidal wave of sensation that pushed him toward the brink. He felt himself being claimed from both ends, the pressure in his rectum increasing as the mysterious entity behind him seemed to grow, locking him in place like a knot. Julian’s breath came in ragged hitches, his heart hammering against his ribs as he reached a shattering climax, his seed spraying against the forest floor.
A heavy, sweet lethargy began to pull him under. The sounds of the forest faded, replaced by the rhythmic pulsing of blood leaving his veins. He didn’t fight it; the pleasure was too great, a divine surrender to the dark. As Julian drifted into a permanent sleep, the creatures of the night—the Moroi—finally withdrew, their lips stained crimson, leaving the young man as a broken, bloodless doll in the moonlight.
